Edwards and Gary O'Neil Among Wolverhampton Wanderers Head Coach Contenders
Rob Edwards and O'Neil each possess past connections with the club

Rob Edwards along with O'Neil represent the early candidates under consideration to succeed Vitor Pereira as head coach of Wolves.
The previous coach was sacked on the weekend following the team's ten-game without a victory start to the top-flight season.
And Edwards and O'Neil - each of whom have previous associations to the team - are among the names to be evaluated by the club leadership.
Edwards is currently at Middlesbrough, which would create a potential hurdle to his hiring at Molineux.
However the former Luton Town manager - who made more than 100 of games for the club during his playing career - is considered a strong contender for the vacancy.
The 42-year-old is said to have support from the Wolves directors as they begin the search of hiring a fresh head coach.
O'Neil is also emerging as a unexpected candidate, even though he would be a surprising choice considering he was released by Wolves in December last year.
The former West Ham United player is currently unemployed meaning the club would not be required to provide any compensation.
